In January Charlie & I planned a surpise trip to Disneyland for our family and amazingly we held it in until the day we left - super self control! I wanted to say something so many times but then I didn't want to have a countdown to Disney, and I wanted them to be totally surprised and they WERE! It was so fun telling them on Sunday morning that the reason we had bought so many treats and coloring books the day before was not actually for sacrament meeting, but for the airplane ride to DISNEYLAND!!!! Sam just started clapping, Tatum looked shocked but happy and Mase teared up he was so happy, it was awesome. We headed to the airport an hour later and took off! This was Sam's first flight so I didn't know how he would be but everyone was just fine for both flights down there. I won't give you the details of our flight home - but it was a little more exciting to say the least. :P

Climbing the White Rabbit by the Alice In Wonderland ride.

They put the princess together in a new attraction called Fantasy Faire, I guess they were getting mobbed if they walked around the park. SO, you wait in line for 2 hours to meet them and get autographs so of course I'm posting these pics. Just for the reason that I had to stand there for 2 hours to meet them - they're lovely.

I'd have to say that Snow White was the sweetest.

This is in front of the Lego store in Downtown Disney, we had to make a couple of trips to the Lego store while we were there!

One of the mornings we decided to do the Character Dining Breakfast and it was SO VERY worth every penny. They had a HUGE, DELICIOUS, buffet with every kind of breakfast food imaginable......mmmm pretty much the best french toast I've had in my life - can't describe it really, just go try it! The different characters would wander around the restaurant and each one came to the table to sign autographs, take pictures and interact with the kids. They LOVED it! Here's Captain Hook massaging Sam's head.

Sam's signature thumbs up pose - classic.

Sam? Not sure.

We would leave our hotel room around 9am and get home around 10 or 10:30 everynight - this is how Sam ended up on the walk back to the hotel (it was 2 blocks away and the longest 2 blocks for Charlie carrying the sleeping sack of potatoes!).

Minnie of course, then we toured through her house. We have a picture like this of Tatum & I with Minnie when Tatum was 1yr. and she's ready to freak out - she kept saying Minnie Mouse, Minnie Mouse, so we waited in line to see her then she wanted NOTHING to do with her. I'm glad the kids still wanted to stand next to her after waiting to see her!

Charlie & Tatum with Mason & Sam in the car behind them on the Gadget Coaster! I had to sit this one out of course.

Heading into Toontown! Isn't it magical? I love Disneyland this was my 5th time and I still LOVE it!

Me & Tatum on the Alice in Wonderland ride - trying to lift her spirits after she got off the Matterhorn for the first time. Last time we came she was too small to ride it and the abominable snowman monster inside was a bit too much of a surprise in the dark!! Another one I got to sit out. :(

Oh and there she is while Charlie is laughin his head off - nice Char! She was temporarily tramautized, she ended up doing that same ride about 6 more times or so!
It was so much fun and I'm SO glad we ended up going, it was pretty much down to the wire getting travel insurance for me in my preggo state but we did and it was FABULOUS!!

This was our first morning heading to the main gates - they are ready with their autograph books!! Oh so nice and sunny - and look palm trees!
This was our Spring Break Adventure!
